Lauren Said-Moorhouse is an award-winning senior producer at CNN International, specializing in breaking news and live events. Based in London, she writes and edits distinctive cross-platform content – both from the field and working with correspondents.
Since joining CNN in 2011, Said-Moorhouse has contributed to the network’s coverage of major world events. She has reported on Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, the coronavirus pandemic, the brutal killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Brexit and several European and African elections.
She has covered multiple terror attacks in Europe and the fight against ISIS – including those at Westminster Bridge and Parsons Green in London, as well as attacks in Manchester and Stockholm.
She writes CNN’s Royal News with Max Foster – a weekly dispatch with the latest on the Windsors. She has reported extensively on senior royals and traveled with several members of the family, including King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Prince William and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Said-Moorhouse graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Master of Arts in Journalism. She has also produced stories and multimedia for the BBC, Yahoo!, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Phuket Gazette among others.
