This ancient Buddhist temple food gets a modern makeover
At Daigo restaurant in Tokyo, traditional Japanese temple cuisine known as "shojin ryori" is getting a Michelin star makeover. Chef Yusuke Nomura is the fourth generation of his family to own the restaurant, which was originally built on the grounds of Seishoji Temple in 1950.
